Memorial Tree Program
Honor someone special by having a tree planted for them in a city park. Choose from Live Oak, Red Oak, Chinquapin Oak, Chinese Pistache, Crape Myrtle and Desert Willow trees. These trees are favorable for North Central Texas.
By planting trees in the city we beautify the community, help reduce erosion of topsoil, by wind and water, moderate the temperature, clean the air; and create a source of joy and spiritual renewal.

- 30-gallon tree: $250
- 15-gallon tree: $150
Tree Plaques
Donor must supply a 4-inch by 8-inch (4”x 8”) bronze plaque. Engraving must conform to prescribed format. Cost to install plaque and surround with concrete is $75.00.
Planting
City staff will plant trees between November 1 and March 1 of each year. Donors may select a specific park site for the planting, but the tree’s exact location will be determined by the Parks and Recreation Department. The City cannot guarantee a specific planting date.
