Waste Connections of Texas
The City of Granbury uses Waste Connections as its garbage and recycling service provider. You can contact Waste Connections with any questions regarding garbage or recycling services at 1-800-350-3024.

Hood County - Citizens Collection Station (CCS)
"The CCS is located at 244 Bray Street and accepts bulk waste for a fee and recyclables free of charge. Recyclables include metal, plastics 1-5 & 7, paper, glass, oil & oil filters, antifreeze, and tires (first four tires free). We request that the tires be off the rims." Residential Customers
- All receptacles should be placed 4 feet from the curb for pickup every MONDAY or Wednesday by 7:00 a.m. VERIFY YOUR PICK UP DAY HERE
- Residents are required to purchase their receptacles for garbage.
- Waste Connections provides recycling receptacles. Click here for a list of recyclable items.
- All receptacles should be removed from curb within 24 hours of pickup.
Waste Connections does have specific routes; however, they do not have a specific designated time for pickup. Holidays, bad weather, and/or equipment issues may change the pickup schedule. If you have any questions regarding missed pickups you should contact Waste Connections at 1-800-350-3024.

Construction and Renovation Waste
During construction or renovation projects, all properties, commercial and residential, are required to use Waste Connections for construction waste pickup (roll-off or dumpster).

Bulk trash pick-up day for City of Granbury residents is Saturday, November 4
Please have items curbside by 7 a.m. on Saturday.
Acceptable items for bulk trash pick-up include mattresses, refrigerators, freezers, and a/c units (with certification of Freon reclamation), tree limbs (if they are bundled and less than four feet long) and other household items.
There is a six-item limit per address.
Tires, paint, oil, liquids, construction and masonry materials will not be picked up.
Bulk trash day does not affect normal residential pick-up.
