Electric

Electric Distribution is responsible for maintenance, repair and construction of the Electric Distribution System. This consists of primary and secondary lines, transformers, and other electric system equipment.

The City’s electric system is for distribution purposes only. The City does not generate any of its power. The City’s power purchase energy contract is with Constellation, a subsidiary of Exelon.

  • Deliver electric power to the citizens efficiently, and at the lowest possible cost.
  • Maintain electric distribution system.
  • Minimize electric power outages.
