The filing period for the November 4, 2025, City of Granbury election for Mayor and Councilmember Place 2 closed at 5 p.m. Monday, August 18.

Candidates for Mayor are former Mayor Pro Tem Trish Burwell and incumbent Mayor Jim Jarratt.

Candidates for Councilmember Place 2 are David Farris and Angela Parker.

A drawing to determine the order of candidate names on the ballot will be conducted August 20 at 9 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Both offices carry three-year terms.
