Pre-planning 

Going on Now

Members of the Granbury Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) are taking photos outside schools, businesses, multi-residential properties and other locations to update their Emergency Pre-planning database. In some of those locations, they will enter the building and request a floor plan or other information that would be helpful in determining a firefighting strategy.

GVFD personnel will be wearing clothing that identifies them as fire department members and they will be driving GVFD vehicles.

Great Granbury Clean-Up

Join the Great Granbury Clean-up, happening Saturday, April 22 at 8 a.m. beginning at Hewlett Park, 650 E Pearl St. Teams of four people or more (everyone must be at least seven years old) are needed. Each Team Member will be given trash bags, gloves and a vest. The Team Leader will also get a map of a public area in Granbury for your Team to clean up. There are safety instructions and a video about how and what to pick up. You’ll leave the trash in a bag at your clean-up area--City staff will pick it up.
