City Council recognizes Home Care and Hospice Professionals

At a recent City Council meeting, he encouraged residents to learn more about how home care and hospice services provide better care for the elderly, disabled and infirmed, enhancing the quality of life in our community.

“Dedicated home care and hospice professionals and volunteers provide a support network that continues to play a fundamental role in health care,” the Mayor said. They are “everyday heroes.”

Mayor Pro Tem Trish Reiner assisted Mayor Jarratt in the presentation, which was received by Suzanne Childers, Kelley Reed and David McPherson.

“Hospice and Home Health are the life blood of the community,” Reiner declared. “It’s quality of life at the end of life. I’m incredibly proud of the team at National Association for Home Care and Hospice.”
