[ARCHIVED] City Police Offices Closing For Funeral

The City of Granbury Police Department will be temporarily closing their operations between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to Noon, on Tuesday, January 5, for staff to attend the funeral of DeDe Grizzard, late wife of Granbury Police Lt. Russell Grizzard. 

The Hood County Sheriff’s Department will be handling calls during this time so non-emergency calls should be placed to 817-579-3307 and then select option two (2). All emergency calls should continue to be placed to 911.

Services for Mrs. Grizzard will be held at the Granbury Church of Christ, at 1905 W. Pearl St., during the timeframe above. Please keep Lt. Grizzard and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
