Due to large demand, there will be a third free COVID-19 testing for Hood County residents exhibiting one or more symptoms, Monday. Testing will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center at 401 Deputy Larry Miller Dr., Granbury. All tests must be scheduled. No unscheduled visitors will be tested. Reservations for testing must be made by calling 512-883-2400 or at https://txcovidtest.org/ , but the call center will not be able to take reservations more than 48 hours in advance.
The Hood County Office of Emergency Management, with Hood County Judge Ron Massingill and Granbury Mayor Nin Hulett, is providing the testing in collaboration with The Department of State and Human Services, Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Military Department, and the Regional Advisory Council (Hospital Preparedness Providers), along with the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force.
