[ARCHIVED] Reporting Water Restrictions Non-Compliance

Thank you to everyone who has reported water restriction violations.

The City of Granbury appreciates the community’s help in identifying homes, businesses, or facilities that are not following the Stage 5 Mandatory Water Restrictions now in effect. They are:

-No lawn or landscape watering. All outdoor irrigation is prohibited unless using a private well or drawing directly from the lake.

-No water use for cleaning driveways, sidewalks, buildings, or for dust control or gutter flushing.

-No washing of vehicles at home. Commercial car washes may be used only between 6–10 a.m. and 6–10 p.m.

-No filling or refilling pools, kiddie pools, spas, or hot tubs.

-Ornamental fountains and ponds must be turned off, unless needed to support aquatic life or equipped with a recirculating pump.

On Sunday morning, the City turned off irrigation to a neighborhood park still managed by the developer after it was found to be out of compliance.

If you see water being used outside these restrictions, whether at a home, business, or City facility, please report it by emailing pio@granbury.org

Thank you!
