[ARCHIVED] See a piece of the USS Arizona in Granbury City Hall

On Friday, December 6, at 3 p.m., Granbury will proudly display a piece of the historic USS Arizona in the City Hall Council Chambers. This cherished relic honors the memory of the United States Navy members who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

This special event includes a 20-minute video presentation from Hawaii and brief discussion time, sharing the story of how the artifact came to Granbury and the significance it holds in honoring our nation’s heroes.

The relic will also be displayed in the Jim Burks Firefighters Memorial Park and Memorial Lane on Saturday, December 7 at 10 a.m. at the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony.

Please take these opportunities to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served.
