Applicant testing is conducted on an as needed basis. The written exam is designed to evaluate the basic knowledge and skills required for the position of police officer. The fitness assessment is a 2000-meter row, completed on a Concept 2 row machine.
Applications
Applications may be downloaded online or picked up Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the reception desk at 2050 NE LOOP 567. Completed applications may be returned to the above address, and if mailed, must be received at the Granbury Police Department. The City of Granbury is an equal opportunity employer.
Qualified applicants will be notified by phone and/or e-mail regarding dates and times for each phase of testing.
