Utility Administration
Program Description
The Utility Administration / Customer Service Division is responsible for the billing and collection of fees and payments for electric, water, sewer, and solid waste services. This office also handles connections, disconnections, trouble orders, transfers of service, collection of utility security deposits, and customer questions and complaints regarding utility bills and service.

This department is responsible for customer service, cashiers, and billing. Delinquent accounts procedures for both active and inactive accounts are initiated by this office, as well as bankruptcy claims.

Performance Objectives 
  • Deliver service to customers in a timely manner
  • Process payments and cash receipts and make deposits in a timely manner
  • Prepare and mail correct and concise utility bills to all customers in a timely manner
