The City of Granbury released the March 2021 Food Service Establishment Health Scores for more than a dozen sites, including the Hood County Jail. The City’s Public Health Inspector examines all food establishments within city limits, including full-service restaurants, fast food establishments, gas stations, daycares and schools.

Inspections are conducted 2-4 times annually, with scores ranging from 0 to 100 demerits. A score of 100 indicates a perfect score, while 70 indicates serious conditions that need to be corrected. It is important to remember that scores represent only a snapshot of the facility when the inspector arrived. The conditions could be better or worse while an inspector is not present.
