The City of Granbury Public Health Inspector released the February 2021 Food Service Establishment Health Scores for 10 Granbury restaurants and eateries, Tuesday. The Health Department's mission is to assist the citizens of Granbury in achieving a state of wellness through public health service and education programs.
Scores from the February inspections ranged from two perfect scores of 100 to scores as low as 84, with each score based on a point system from 0-100. Each inspection results in a score based on the number of violations found. Each violation has a demerit value that is subtracted from 100 to give the overall inspection score.
Inspections are conducted 2-4 times, annually, but the severe weather the City faced in February caused the number of inspections to be curtailed. This month’s scores were:
2/1 JJ’s Fastop 100
2/1 Dairy Queen 87
2/1 Chili’s 84
2/2 Schlotzsky’s 98
2/3 Mission Granbury 100
2/8 Days Inn 98
2/9 Burger King 93
2/9 Acton Donuts 92
2/12 Trinity Mission Nursing 95
2/23 Brazos Drive Inn 96
