[ARCHIVED] City Council Appoints Members of New Cultural Arts Commission

At the August 21 Granbury City Council Meeting, the Council appointed members to serve on the newly-established Granbury Cultural Arts Commission:

  • Phil Groeschel
  • Patricia Hall
  • Val Hibbeler
  • Shad Ramsey
  • Kellye SoRelle

To help support the arts and cultural programs in the community, the Granbury City Council adopted Ordinance No. 18-42 creating and establishing a Granbury Cultural Arts Commission at the June 19 Granbury City Council Meeting.

The Granbury Cultural Arts Commission is a way for the City to work cooperatively with private citizens, foundations, corporations, institutions, and agencies committed to the preservation and development of programs and activities related to the arts.

The Granbury Cultural Arts Commission is made up of seven members at large (four of which must be City of Granbury residents) appointed by the Granbury City Council. Meeting dates and times for the commission are not yet set.
