[ARCHIVED] City Accepting Applications for Two Board Vacancies

The City is accepting applications for two open board positions: one position on the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and one position on the Public Television Channel Advisory Board. Both positions require that the appointee be a Granbury citizen.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment hears and decides appeals and variance requests and may modify decisions or determinations related to the zoning ordinance. Learn more about this board’s qualifications, duties, and meeting times at

The Public Television Channel Advisory Board brings forward needs, suggestions and recommendations from the community to aid in development and improvement of the public television channel and the additional platforms connected to it. All applications should be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office as soon as possible so that the City Councilmembers can review them before making appointments at an upcoming meeting (meeting date to be determined). Applications can be picked up in person at City Hall or downloaded online at

Applications may be submitted

  • in person at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.),
  • via mail (P.O Box 969, Granbury, TX 76048), or

Those appointed by City Council will be notified by mail. Applicants not appointed will be considered for future assignments as vacancies occur.
