The days are long, and the sun is shining; that means pool season! The Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center (301 N. Park St.) will open to the public for the summer pool season beginning Saturday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m.
General admission is $5. A $2 discount is available for residents who bring a copy of their City of Granbury water bill. Children 11 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Beginning May 26, the Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center will be open six days a week:
- Monday - CLOSED
- Tuesday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday - 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Friday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday - 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The pool is also available for reservation for private parties outside of public pool hours. The minimum reservation is one hour, and rates are set by hour and by number of swimmers:
- $80/hr per 25 swimmers
- $90/hr up to 50 swimmers
- $100/hr up to 75 swimmers
- $110/hr. up to 100 swimmers

The Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center is a public pool facility. The 4,280-square-foot pool ranges from four to twelve feet deep. The pool has a twisty slide and six 75-foot swimming lanes with starting platforms.
