Community Easter Egg Hunt at City Park on March 31

Egg hunt 2018 fb coverIt’s time again for a spring tradition in Granbury! Grab your baskets and get ready to come join the City in searching for Easter treasures. The City of Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at City Park on Saturday, March 31, 2017 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This free event offers youth 12-years-old and younger the opportunity to hunt for thousands of eggs hidden in City Park (corner of Pearl and Park Streets). Registration starts at 11:00 a.m., and the hunt starts at 12 p.m. on the soccer fields.

Registration tables will be setup at the west entrance of the park near the Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center and the north entrance by the soccer fields. The egg hunt areas will be split up into age groups (0-3 and Special Needs (sugar free candy only), 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12). All age groups will start their egg hunts at the same time in their separate locations.

Parents and guardians will be able to assist children participating in the special needs and 0-3-year-old hunts.

There will also be fun for the family after the egg hunt. There will be a DJ, bounce houses, free food, and special surprises in some of the eggs.
