[ARCHIVED] City to Host ‘Run for Your PEEPS’ 5K Walk/Run on March 31

Balance your Easter treats by kicking off the weekend with some exercise! On the morning of Saturday, March 31, the Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the Run for Your PEEPS 5K Walk/Run. Because the mission of this event is to encourage individuals, old and young, to get active and to support their ‘PEEPS,’ or fellow community members, a portion of the proceeds will be gifted to a local charity.

Packet pickup and sign in on the day of the race begins at 7:00 a.m., and the Walk/Run will begin at 8:00 a.m. The race starts and ends at the Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center (400 N Park St). For a map of the race course, visit www.granbury.org/DocumentCenter/View/6735.

Participants can register now until the day of the race online at www.racedayeventservices.com/calendar. However, participants who sign up early can register at a reduced cost:

To help make this event a success, Granbury Parks and Recreation is seeking sponsors for the run.
