[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Wastewater Treatment Plant Noise

UPDATED 1/23/18

There is currently a piece of equipment that is malfunctioning at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant (1800 Waters Edge Dr.). This issue is causing air to surge through a gasket, which is making noise that may be heard by neighboring homes in the Catalina Bay and Harbor Lakes communities.

The City  performed a temporary repair on Monday, January 22, which lessened the volume of the noise. The City is in the process of repairing the issue fully, and will perform the full repair when the needed factory parts arrive in the coming weeks.

This issue will not affect the City's wastewater services.
