There is currently a piece of equipment that is malfunctioning at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant (1800 Waters Edge Dr.). This issue is causing air to surge through a gasket, which is making a loud noise that may be heard by neighboring homes in the Catalina Bay and Harbor Lakes communities.
The City is in the process of repairing the issue fully, and will perform a temporary repair tomorrow (Monday, January 22), which should lessen the noise.
This issue will not affect the City's wastewater services.
