[ARCHIVED] City Accepting Applications for Boards, Commissions

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve your community and help shape the future of Granbury?  The City of Granbury is now accepting applications for boards and commissions with members whose terms expiring in January of 2018. 

The purpose of the City’s advisory boards and commissions is to make recommendations to the City Council on a variety of issues impacting City services, community development, parks and recreation facilities, and more. There are ten boards and commissions with current openings:

To learn more about each board or commission’s powers and duties and usual meeting date, time, and location, or to review the Boards and Commissions Policy Manual, visit www.granbury.org/16/boards-commissions.

All applications should be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office by Friday, December 29, 2017 either in person at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.), via mail (P.O Box 969, Granbury, TX 76048), or via email (cawalker@granbury.org). Applications can be picked up in person at City Hall or at downloaded online at www.granbury.org/16/boards-commissions.

Appointments will be made by City Council in January 2018. Those appointed by City Council will be notified by mail. Applicants not appointed will be considered for future assignments as vacancies occur.
