Granbury’s incumbent Mayor and Council Member Place 2 have been reelected.

Granbury’s incumbent Mayor and Council Member Place 2 have been reelected.

Mayor Jim Jarratt defeated former Council Member Tony Mobly. Jarratt received 2,547 votes (59 percent) to Mobly’s 1,805 votes (41 percent). Jarratt will begin his first full term as Mayor.

Incumbent Eddie Rodriquez has been elected to a second term. He defeated challenger Pat Abell. Rodriquez received 3,000 votes (72 percent) to Abell’s 1,195 votes (28 percent).
