City of Granbury water has been voted “Best Tasting Drinking Water” by the South Central Membrane Association. The Association includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, and is part of the national association.
Granbury’s first place award occurred in the first year they entered the competition.
All utilities in the five-state area that use membrane technology (reverse osmosis) were eligible to submit an entry. JG Brite, City of Granbury Water Treatment Superintendent and Daniel Barge, Foreman, represented the City at the Association’s recent gathering.
